On Friday, February 8, grades 1-5 will have a Valentine’s Dance after school from 3:30-5:00 with a great DJ! At the same time, the Pre-3, Pre-4 and Kindergarten children will have a “Friday Movie” party in the music room. The dance and movie will both cost Ls2 and will include pizza, juice, and fun! Children can go home on the late bus.

The PTO has a fun February planned for our students! Our lower school children will begin celebrating the Chinese New Year on Thursday, February 7 from 1-3pm in the cafeteria by making several crafts that will be used to decorate the school. On Monday, Feb. 11 they will enjoy a New Year assembly at 2:30 in the Media Center, which will include drumming and dancing. Mr. Callaway will share a presentation about the traditions of the holiday with the upper school classes. Everyone can wear red and the whole school will be treated to a delicious Chinese lunch--complete with chopsticks! Read more about Chinese New Year Assembly
