Welcome to the university search and admissions process! I am very much looking forward to working together with each of you over the coming year as you journey through the process of discovering schools that are a good match for you – both personally and academically. As the college counselor, I will be here to offer information and advice, and to guide, support, assist, and encourage you every step of the way. In the end, however, you are the one ultimately responsible for making the key decisions about your future, and you are the one who must do the hard work. You will need to evaluate your needs and preferences, research your options, take the tests, write the essays, complete the applications and ultimately decide which university you will attend.

At its best, the university counseling process goes beyond helping you to find a university that is a "good match" or a "good fit."
